The 2023 Volkswagen Atlas
The changes to the VW Atlas were minimal. The headline upgrade to the 2023 VW Atlas interior with the addition of the 10.25” Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro to the Atlas SE model. Along with the new screen in the SE, new 45-watt USB-C chargers will be available in the rear seat of the Atlas SUV, allowing faster charging of mobile devices.
Updates to the 2023 VW Arteon
All models in 2023 will come standard with features including Travel Assist, Lane Assist, Emergency Braking Assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, Dynamic Road Sign Display, adaptive headlights, and a heated and ventilated steering wheel.
20-inch wheels are standard on all SEL models, upgraded from 19-inch wheels in previous models.
2023 Volkswagen Golf R
The VW Golf R was completely redesigned for 2022, so the 2023 Golf R changes come in the form of an anniversary edition–the 20th anniversary of the R model.
Jetta GLI Models
The limited edition 40th anniversary 2023 Volkswagen Jetta GTI is the primary update. Aside from the anniversary edition, performance LED headlights and fog lights with integral active cornering lights are new this year.
Upgrades to 2023 Volkswagen ID.4
The headline this year is Volkswagen introducing a lower-priced ID.4 battery-electric crossover. Instead of the 82kWh battery pack, the entry-level model will be equipped with a 62kWh battery pack.
The Pro S Plus models will have Area View–an overhead camera to assist with parking. Park Assist Plus is new and standard on all models, helping drivers with parallel and perpendicular parking.
Changes Made To 2023 Taos
In 2022, Volkswagen introduced an all-new crossover SUV in the Taos. In 2023, each trim level is getting additional features. Safety upgrades include forward-collision warning, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert warning.
The S 4motion all-wheel drive model gets 18-inch wheels, IQ.Drive driver assistance technology will now be standard on SE trim models, and the SEL trim will now have a standard panoramic sunroof.
